Summary[]

Also, Lucifer and Uriel fight about Chloe and their mother."[1]
Plot[]
The episode begins where the previous episode left off with Chloe in a car wreck. She walks away, bruised but alive. Lucifer is very concerned that her crash may be his Father sending him a message. And arrives at Chloe's new apartment to try and express his concerns.
They then must deal with a murder at the dojo of a 1990’s action film star, Wesley Cabot (Sean Millington), who in his prime, he had stared in the popular “Body Bag” franchise, but had fallen on hard times and was living in his own dojo where he had been beaten to death with one his one action movie awards. Lucifer is a big fan, and has to be stopped from taking a selfie with the dead man.
Lucifer then spots someone familiar pass by outside, and goes up to investigate. When he sees a figure on the roof across the street, he discovers it is his brother, Uriel. He gives Lucifer an ultimatum: bring their mother to him in 24 hours, or he’ll finish what he started with Chloe. Lucifer realizes the car crash was a warning, but it was orchestrated by his brother not his Father.
Returning to the penthouse, he tells Maze and Amenadiel Uriel is on Earth. Maze is all for handing the goddess back. Lucifer, however, wants the nuclear option; Amenadiel, “Uriel doesn't know that we're working together on this. We all know he won't listen to me. But he will if it's someone from the home team. So, you will go and convince him that he needs to go back. Or, you know, just punch him in his smug face. Dealer's choice. Gosh, it's nice having a super powerful angel on your side, isn't it?”
Back at the precinct, Lucifer tell Chloe he intends to be her “guardian devil” because she is now being “targeted by cosmic forces.” Dan and Lucifer then actually bond over their mutual love of the Body Bag movies. Dan comes up with a list of matches for the partial plate number they had and Lucifer connects one to Jamie Lee Adrienne, the victim's ex. They bring her in for questioning, and she brings up her current husband, and the victim's rival, Kimo van Zandt who played the Weaponizer in a rival franchise of that name.
Amenadiel visits his mother at her office, and suggests that Uriel is just the first of his siblings who will be coming after her. She counters that she will take all the time with any of her children she can get.
On a stake out, Lucifer is still trying to convince Chloe she is in danger, but she keeps trying to convince him – and herself - that it was a random accident. Lucifer responds, “Well, let's agree... that you're wrong.” They then spot van Zandt (Mark Dacascos), who has apparently become a leg breaker for hire. Under interrogation he reveals the supposed rivalry was a sham, and he and the victim were good friends; “In reality, we share everything. The same managers, agents, lawyers...” and a wife. He also has an alibi, but the murder weapon has his prints on it. After his arrest, Lucifer pays his bail. Chloe is not amused, but they do meet the manager, Ryan Goldburg, who explains that Kimo has nothing left.
Later, Amenadiel suggests they hide Chloe, hide their mother, and wait Uriel out. Lucifer is astonished, and points out the Uriel had always been afraid of Amenadiel, and that just the sight of him should do the trick. That heartens the powerless angel, and he meets his brother, puts the attitude on. He gets pushy - then Uriel sucker punches him. He has read the patterns and realizes his brother has lost his powers, and beats him bloody.
Meanwhile, Dan realizes the trophy that was used to kill Wesley has Kimo's finger prints on it because there were two – given to both men involved in the award winning fight sequence. He also learned that the Body Bag action figures were incredibly lucrative. He then discovers that the manager has been skimming the merchandising profits from both men. Chloe heads out to find Goldberg, and Lucifer leaves her to respond to a text from Maze.
He finds a bloodied Amenadiel and, astonished, asks how that happened. Amenadiel says he has lost his powers, he has fallen. His brother refuses to hold his hand about it, “Well. Welcome to the club. Meetings are on Tuesdays....It's probably the best thing that ever happened to you.” But since the nuclear option failed, Lucifer points out Uriel's deadline has passed, and he is now afraid for Chloe.
Uriel has followed Chloe and is apparently manipulating patterns as she goes to find Goldberg. She finds him at lunch with Jaime, “What's the occasion? You celebrating the successful theft of Wesley and Kimo's merchandising money?” She gets the two of them to turn on each other just before Kimo shows up with a shotgun.
Lucifer then arrives and warns Chloe the situation is engineered to put her in harm's way, but Chloe talks the Kimo down. Lucifer wants to dive her back, but Chloe is determined to go by herself. He tells her to buckle up.
Back at the penthouse, Mum informs Lucifer she is going to let Uriel take her back to Hell. Lucifer, however, has had enough, “Everyone thinks they know what He wants! Amenadiel did when he first got here, now Uriel does. Human wars have been waged because of it. Dad showed me an open door. Does that mean I was meant to take you back to Hell or was He insinuating that Hell was getting drafty? Nobody bloody knows, because the selfish bastard won't just tell us! And I'm sick of it. No more! No more.”
Mum warns him that Uriel isn’t going to give up, he will hold out for her or Chloe, but Lucifer is is determined to find another way. He then goes to meet his brother in a disused church. Uriel said the pattern did waver briefly and he thought Lucifer would surprise him and bring Mum. Lucifer tries to make Uriel see he doesn't actually know what their Father wants, none of them do. Uriel says what Dad wants is immaterial, he knows what Dad needs – he has stolen Azrael’s blade, and intends to use it on Mum, rather than take a chance that Dad will forgive her. Lucifer is horrified, telling his brother he is insane. Uriel counters with a threat to Chloe, assuring his brother she will die in two days if Mum is not produced. With no other real option, Lucifer assaults Uriel, and is joined by Mazikeen. Both are taken down by Uriel who tells his brother, “Because you made it so difficult, now I'm going to take out Mom and the detective. You can't stop me, brother.” Panicked, Lucifer rushes him, weapon in hand, and runs him through with Azreal's blade, destroying him. He stares in disbelief at Uriel's blood on his hands and whispers, “He was my brother.” When he returns to the penthouse, he is bloody and disheveled, tears in his eyes. When Mum asks what happened he is desolate, “What have I done?”

Quotes[]
- Lucifer: Everyone thinks they know what He wants. No more! No more.
- Lucifer: Look, you do know that he was always afraid of you.
Amenadiel: Don't mock me, Lucifer.
Lucifer: I'm not. It's true. All right? Growing up, we... well, we all looked up to you. You were like our very own action star.
Amenadiel: Even you?
Lucifer: Well, don't get me wrong, you were a major power-hungry dick about it. But trust me, just the sight of you will send quivers down Uriel's spine.

Trivia[]
- Lucifer is the one who says the title in the episode.
- The episode was originally titled "The Weaponizer"[2] before the "The" was dropped.
- Lucifer again is shown as a fan boy with his favorite actors. He avenged one's murder and posted bail for another.
- It is confirmed in this episode that Angels, much like Humans, don't actually know what God wants. They just try to interpret signs since God does not actually talk to them either.
- Coraline, the book Chloe is reading to Trixie, is a novel by Neil Gaiman, the creator of the Sandman comic books and the Lucifer character.
- In the alternate reality, the actress, Chloe Decker, stars in the Weaponizer movies using the tag line, "not on my watch."
- It's strange that the lawyer wasn't found out WAY sooner by both the clients he ripped off; it's a NORMAL to receive 10% of the money made from product sales.
- It's unknown if the 9% that was stolen from both Kino and Wesley was reimbursed to Kino and Wesley's familes. Given that they were being ripped off for nearly 20 years, that's A LOT of money.
- Kino was likely given some minor jail time for attempted vigilantism. He only had intent and a weapon; nothing beyond that as Chloe talked him down.
- This is the first appearance of Azrael's Blade.
- This is the first time Lucifer kills.
- Phil LaMarr (Mostly known as the voice of Green Lantern in "Justice League Unlimited" and Samurai Jack in "Samurai Jack") has a cameo in this episode
- There actually is, as 2024, a real Body Bags film. Only it's a horror anthology about three different stories about horrific deaths.
