Lucifer was right about her in the first episode of season 2, about her being dangerous and terrifying! I mean, she made a stupid evil grin at the first episode ending, implying she lied to her own son. So far, she's done nothing but wreck everything good and decent in Los Angeles. Anoid Lucifer, lied to both him and Amenadiel, tricked his friends, unleashed Azrael's blade on the city, tried to take away Lucifer's home on Earth, tried to kill Chloe, using Amenadiel as her pawn, set Lucifer against Uriel, and now wants to ruin Lucifer and Chloe's relationship. Uriel was right about her! She DOES want to kill God and destroy everything!
I think there's more layers to her than that. Deep down she really does love her children, she just is consumed by her desire to go back to Heaven. I see her growing and starting to learn. She already made a huge step in the right direction by going down to hell to save Lucifer, and I think him leaving will impact her as well as the rest of the characters. She seemed to realize how much damage she was causing when she was facing "Uriel" in hell, and this might be the turning point for her to start on her own (albiet long) journey towards redemption.
am starting to think the goal is for them all to learn to respect and appreciate humans. They all have a feeling of superiority to humans. Only Lucifer even like humans. They all only have one goal and that is to leave and go to heaven.
