• I'm considering moving Lucifer, the TV series article, to Lucifer (TV series) and then change Lucifer to redirect to Lucifer Morningstar. That way it'll be easier for users to write plots and other text without constantly piping Lucifer's name (i.e. we'll be able to write Lucifer instead of Lucifer).

I willing to do all the cleanup myself, i.e. go through Special:WhatLinksHere/Lucifer and changing all those articles to link to the new article title. Also, we have Lucifer which will link & italicize the TV series title. That way we can write Lucifer instead of Lucifer – it's actually easier than what we do now since we won't have to do the italic marks, Lucifer.

Implementation steps:

1. Move Lucifer to Lucifer (TV series), leaving a redirect
2. Go through Special:WhatLinksHere/Lucifer & change all the links
3. Change Lucifer to redirect to Lucifer Morningstar

Are there any objections to this move?

• I strongly agree with this modification.

• I can have my bot change those links, if I get community approval to use it on this wiki.

• Well, Blaziken I trust you and approve.

• I've done step one (the move), as well as, changed the links in the navbar and admin-locked templates. Lucifer currently redirects to the TV series article until all other links are changed.

Blaziken rjcf, if you want to have your bot change Lucifer to Lucifer, that would be great. Please also review all bot changes since some Lucifer may have been accidental and were meant to link to the character. Btw, according to wikia bots page, you need bureaucrat permission to use a bot on a wikia – that'll be OmegaWulfgar.

Alternatively, Blaziken rjcf, if you're no longer interested/don't have the time/etc., I'm still willing to manually make the changes. Given there is only 50 pages, I estimate the manual process taking less than an hour. Since all active admins have agreed on the move and users have had a chance to comment, I'd like to conclude this process. Please let us know know which way to proceed, thanks.

• Getting the bot flag is going to take longer than an hour, but a bot is more useful on the long run. I'll get it ASAP, but if you want to do this manually, it's up to you.

• Blaziken rjcf, do you think you'll be able to get the bot & complete the changes within a week or that permissions, etc will take more than a week?

• If it only takes humans about an hour, the bot shouldn't take more than thirty minutes, and I'm already exaggerating. However, I'm still waiting for the bureaucrat to reply to me, and then I have to wait for Wikia to reply to me and add the bot flag.

• My understanding is that wikia bots are often set at one page a second, so I'd assume the actual bot process to take about a minute. If you're still waiting for approvals next Wednesday, I'll implement the changes manually. Otherwise, have at it & thanks.

It still takes time to load and process articles. It's just a second or two, but still.
