Mairzee Almas is a Vancouver based television director experienced in drama, action and science fiction. Her early training included graduating from both the Vancouver Film School Foundation Film Program and the 2 year actor training program at The F.T.S. Performing Arts Conservatory in Vancouver. She earned a “Best Direction” nomination from the Directors Guild of Canada for her “Smallville” episode entitled “Identity.” Working as a 1st AD for many years gave Mairzee unique access to a wealth of different directors and styles. In addition, Mairzee benefited from the mentorship of several of the directors with whom she worked.
