Michael's Wings are the Angel Wings belonging to Michael. He possessed these grey-black wings up until his twin, Lucifer Morningstar, cut them off after their battle, using the Flaming Sword.
History[]
Michael had his wings through his entire existence. Due, however, to his constant feelings of being in his twin, Lucifer Morningstar's shadow, he self-actualized his right wing into looking injured, just as he had made his right shoulder slope.[1]
While he was impersonating Lucifer on Earth in order to destroy his brother's life and force him out of Hell to face him, Michael used his wings to fly Chloe Decker over an oncoming car to avoid injury, pressing her face to his shoulder so she would not see they were not Lucifer's wings.[2]
After Lucifer did finally return, Michael flew to his penthouse, wings unfurled as a form of intimidation before retracting them.[3]
Michael also used his wings to to his own advantage when he approached Dan Espinoza in his guise of an Archangel, and manipulate him into helping hurt Lucifer.[4]
When Michael was battling Lucifer and Amenadiel in the Los Angeles Police Department, he unfurled his wings prior to his brothers and prepared to battle them at full strength, using the wings as weapons, until God arrived to halt the fighting.[5] They then refurled their wings.[1]
During the final battle with Lucifer to decide who would be the next God, the brothers used their wings to battle each other in the sky. After Michael was defeated, Lucifer used the Flaming Sword to sever Michael's wings, seeing it as preferable outcome to the fight to the death Michael had wanted.[6]
