History[]
Maze and Eve (or "Meve") first met in Season 4 episode 6 "Orgy Pants to Work" after Maze finds that Lucifer have a sex party in his penthouse. She initially got mad at him because he had not done one in a long while. Eve arrives at the scene and after Eve mades a comment about Maze being hot, it makes Maze like her in an instant.
Throughout the Series[]
Eve and Maze started out as friends and when she found Eve just doing nothing the penthouse, Maze proposed an idea to go out to have fun. After all, Maze calls her the world's first party girl. In Super Bad Boyfriend, Maze desperately tries to find the perfect date and she ends up in 21 dates. None of the suitors doesn't seem to satisfy her. Eve arrives and gives some advice by doing a practice date and give feedback on what she can improve. When Maze's next date appears, Maze insists to keep on going and on the next scene, we see that Maze and Eve are having fun together as if they are actually dating.
After Lucifer and Eve had broken up, Eve was devastated and Maze wants to help Eve while in the process, tries to show Eve her feelings as Maze fell in love with her. While Eve was oblivious as she thinks what Maze is implying is a suggestion to get back with Lucifer.
Eve does show that she also cared for Maze. Just not the way Maze wanted her to.
Eve left in the season 4 finale to try and find herself. She came back in season 5 and told Maze that she was in love with her too. Something she realized after trying to find out what makes her happiest which turned out to be being with Maze.
On a mission Eve gets shot and faced with the possibility of Eve dying, Maze confesses her true feelings for her, and the pair begin their long road to reconciling as a couple. Eve survives and Maze gives her, her mothers immorality ring so that she can make sure that Eve never dies. but Eve rejects it and tells maze that she doesn't want to live forever and maze breaks up with her because she can't date her if there's a possibility that she could die any moment since she's a mortal.
In the season 5 finale Maze tells Eve that she's decided that she doesn't care if Eve dies, meaning that she will be with her even though she's mortal. To which Eve replies "that's the sweetest thing anyone's ever said to me" they kiss and makes it official that they are now in a romantic relationship.
At the start of season 6, they are at Linda's house with Linda and Amenadiel to celebrate Maze going to be the new Queen of Hell. When they got into an argument, Maze reveals that she doesn't want to go to Hell. Instead, she wants to remain on Earth to continue do bounty hunting along with Eve. She even proposed to her and they spend the next few episodes planning their wedding.
