Mike Carey, also known as Corazon, was a member of the Satanist congregation of the Church of the Dark Prince, the high priest of which said took things way too seriously. He was killed by Malcolm Graham.

Corazon was a member of the Church of the Dark Prince, and when Rose Davis started dating him, she converted to satanism as well. Mitch Watson aka Onyx, the high priest, told Chloe Decker that Carey took things too seriously and fancied doing real sacrifices with live animals. It is possible that he performed such sacrifices, as bloody chicken parts were found in Rose's "secret creepy room" which Corazon had access to. Lucifer, however, said if such a sacrifice was for him, he declined on the grounds of salmonella.
When Rose was found murdered in an apparent satanic ritual, Corazon was seen as the prime suspect. Onyx was more than willing to provide the police with his application information in an effort to discover his real name and address. Corazon, however, was later found murdered as well. He had been hung in the rafters of a warehouse with a pentagram carved in his chest. When Detective Graham asked Lucifer what he thought of the case, Lucifer pensively said that it had been a long time since he had seen true evil.
Malcolm Graham was later caught out by Lucifer, who noticed the red paint on his hands, paint like that found at the crime scene. Graham confessed committing the murders to Lucifer, calling the victims frauds. Malcolm claimed that he had done it for Lucifer, and that he could blame the murders on the street preacher, Jacob Williams, who was the perfect fall guy. Lucifer was furious, seeing the victims as innocents who were just playing at being bad.

- Corazon's real name, Mike Carey, is a reference to the British comic book writer, author, and screenwriter, whose credits include The Sandman spin-off Lucifer comic series, a three-year run on Hellblazer, Crossing Midnight and The Unwritten for DC's Vertigo imprint.
- As Chloe points out, Corazon is the Spanish word for heart.
