Chloe Decker is a homicide detective working in Los Angeles as a member of the LAPD. Investigating a murder at the Lux nightclub leads her to an encounter with Lucifer Morningstar, the former ruler of Hell, now living among humans. Lucifer assisted Decker on this case, essentially inviting himself along. The two would go on to form a professional relationship as a detective-consultant duo.
History
Growing up, Chloe's father was a detective with the LAPD while her mother was a second-rate actress. She had a role in a second rate pornographic movie, Hot Tub High School, where she was displayed in full-frontal nudity. After realizing she wasn't going to cut it, Chloe decided to become a police officer like her father, which led her to meet Dan (they married at some point, however he is currently her ex-husband), with whom she has a daughter named Beatrice (nicknamed Trixie). When she was 19, Chloe's father died and while leaving the funeral, Nick, a paparazzo, took a picture of her, causing her to punch the camera, breaking the lens.
Abilities
- Marksmanship: Chloe has an excellent aim with a gun.
- Mystical Immunity: Chloe is able to negate Lucifer's powers when used towards her, much to his surprise.
