Chloe's necklace, or simply known as the bullet, is the property of Chloe Decker.

Appearence and History

The necklace Lucifer offers Chloe is made of a gold chain and the bullet that hit him when Chloe shot him in "Manly Whatnots".

In the episode, Lucifer encourages Chloe to shoot him to see how invulnerable he's. Unfortunately for him, the bullet wounds him and it's finally him who is surprised to discover his new vulnerability and the fact that he can bleed (even if he doesn't know the cause yet). At this moment, he's surprised, even frightened and then excited by this new condition which probably prompted him to keep the ball as a souvenir (at this time nobody knows).

We learn that Lucifer kept the bullet that hit him 2 years ago in episode "Vegas With Some Radish". In this episode, he gives this bullet he had mounted on a gold chain to Chloe for her birthday. Mocked by a joke from Lucifer with these words "Since I'll likely never penetrate you, I thought I'd commemorate the one time you penetrated me", this gift is nonetheless an intimate gesture of affection linked to their shared history.

In episode "Chloe Does Lucifer", Chloe wears the necklace given by Lucifer and hands it to her for a moment when she has to play a "female version" of it to sneak into a bachelorette party and unmask her murderer there.

In the episode "Orange Is The New Maze", Chloe sports the pendant around her neck as her relationship with Pierce begins. During this episode, she also does everything to hide this budding relationship from Lucifer and to make him happy. Pierce realizes that she's trying to curb their relationship or to protect herself and that she uses the necklace as a shield; he's also afraid of its meaning. At the end of the episode Chloe decides to "turn the page Lucifer" and engage in more depth with Pierce. She proves it to him by permanently removing the pendant. Note that in this episode, the necklace has completely changed in appearance, resembling more like a fake jewelry that is easy to get rid of than the pretty medallion of the episodes in which it symbolized the deep attachment of Chloe and Lucifer.

At the start of Season 5, Chloe misses Lucifer terribly and she wears the pendant in memory of him. In episode "Lucifer! Lucifer! Lucifer !", she tests Michael, whom she correctly presumes to have taken possession of Lucifer's identity. To make the impostor react, she tells him about intimate moments between her and Lucifer and shows him the medallion as well. After having unmasked him, she remains alone, on the same balcony where Lucifer has disappeared and kisses the medallion.

In season 6, in the episode "Save the Devil, Save the World", Chloe realises that if Lucifer had already abandoned her several times, there would be nothing to stop her from doing it again. This is with each sentimental breakthrough they make. Lucifer then promises her that it will never happen again, that he chooses. But Chloe points out that some things are out of his hands, like getting his wings out or making himself invulnerable. At this point she unties her necklace, and holds it together with Lucifer. She then says that she wore this jewel because it proved that Lucifer had chosen to be vulnerable with her.
