History
In "Mr. & Mrs. Mazikeen Smith", Mazikeen has taken interest in the Ben Rivers' case, a fugitive who's responsible for the death of three people. She meets Lt. T. Herrera, the head of Organized crime. He then warned her to not underestimate Rivers, as he can easily manipulating people. Maze then packed and goes to Canada, the last time Rivers was seen. Upon arriving at the ski lodge, Maze "blackmails" the head manager to get the info about Rivers. She then visits Ben Rivers' girlfriend, where she discovered that they have an appointment tonight.
As Ben arrives at the bar, he discovered that person whom he thought his girlfriend is actually Maze, wearing a blonde wig. After handcuffed by Maze, the two of them had a little chat, before Rivers reveals that he already escaped from the handcuffed, and place it in Maze's hand instead. Maze later visited him in his room, where the two of them fighting. While they fighting, Rivers reveals that he was framed by Lt. T. Herrera, and said that Maze is his next target. They both interrupted by a room service, who got out her gun and then started shooting at them. After she managed to attack the girl, Maze discovered that Rivers was shot, which she then called Linda to help her save him. While treating Rivers, Maze shows that he cares for Rivers, which horrified Lucifer.
A couple of hours later, Rivers woke up to discovers that Maze successfully saves his life. While they were both talking, a knock was heard from the door, which was revealed to be Dan, who arrived to check up on Maze. As Maze and Dan were talking about Rivers' case, Rivers fled through windows, but unfortunately, he was found by Herrera's henchmen. Maze and Dan then arrive at the scene and manages to save him. While the two of them are alone, Maze reveals that Rivers can now home come, which didn't excite Rivers much, as he told her that Herrera was just a little cog in the machine, and he couldn't come home until the real person behind the case was caught. Rivers then invited Maze to join him, and then he kissed her. However, Maze declined the offers as she has Lucifer and Chloe Decker back in LA. Rivers then warns her, before saying goodbye to Maze.
