Amenadiel and Lucifer are brothers, angels and the sons of God and Goddess. They are two of the most powerful angels, and were enemies for many eons. But as they spend more time together, they have grown to be very close to one another over the years, often working together on certain situations, and fighting together against other beings, such as other angels and demons.
History[]
Lucifer and Amenadiel are brothers. Amenadiel is the first born out of all the angels. As for Lucifer, it's unclear but some could say that he could either be part of the middle or one of the youngest.
Throughout the Series[]
Lucifer and Amenadiel's relationship starts off rocky. They only see each other when Amenadiel tries convince Lucifer to go back to Hell. He became so desperate that he's willing to do drastic acts such as exposing divine artefacts to humanity to resurrecting Malcolm, a corrupt cop. At the end of Season 1, Amenadiel realizes that he "lost sight of the bigger picture", and ends up refusing to take Lucifer back to Hell, even when Lucifer wants to (Take Me Back to Hell).
In the second season, Lucifer and Amenadiel's relationship is centered about Mum and the Flaming Sword. They help each other in collecting the pieces of the sword. When it came to the last piece, Amenadiel believed that Lucifer's ring what’s the center of the sword in that he will always be the father’s favorite no matter what while Lucifer tried to catch his brothers attention. After doing so Lucifer pointed out to him that his necklace is reacting to the sword revealing that he is the favorite son not Lucifer as he had always believed.
During the third season, Amenadiel had a theory that Lucifer is part of his test and from that idea, he believes that he should be by his side even when Lucifer disagrees at times. Mainly, Amenadiel believes that it would help him get his wings and powers back so he can get back to Heaven. At the near end of the season, he has a theory of self-actualization and how it can affect them. He explains his theory to Lucifer but he doesn't believe to be the case. But he does manage to get his wings back and he flew to heaven and Lucifer found one of his feathers which convinced him that his theory is true.
At the beginning of season four, Amenadiel came back from Heaven and his first stop is at Lucifer's penthouse. While they bond for a bit, Lucifer tells him to go back to Heaven since that's what he always want to do. Amenadiel, on the other hand, doesn't feel right to be in Heaven and feels more at home on Earth instead. During Linda's pregnancy with his child, Amenadiel have came to Lucifer to ask him to be Charlie's godfather. When Charlie got kidnapped by the demons, Lucifer along with Amenadiel goes to confront them in order to save him.
In Season 5, Michael arrived on Earth and have caused trouble in Los Angeles. When Amenadiel found out, he goes down to Hell to get Lucifer to deal with Michael. However, someone has to look after Hell to keep an eye on the demons. Lucifer trusts Amenadiel to take care of things in Hell. As Lucifer is on earth, he tries to fix things as quick as he can so that Amenadiel can be free of the duty. In an unexpected twist, Amenadiel is back on Earth because God declares that Hell no longer needs a warden.
Amenadiel supports Lucifer against Michael and as the candidate for the new God. When Lucifer becomes the new God, Amenadiel smiles and becomes the first to bow before him, leading the other angels present in doing so.
In Goodbye Lucifer, while Amenadiel was mad at Lucifer for sudden change, it took him some time to understand and come to the realisation that he is going to be the new god. It's because that's what he desires. Lucifer even bring the decision to do a co-ownership with Amenadiel at Lux in order to give their siblings a chance to interact with humanity.

- Deceptive Little Parasite: While Lucifer ignites Azrael's blade by feeling pain, only Amenadiel noticed it. When it doesn't go fully powerful, their mother tries to forces Lucifer to try harder but Amenadiel was able to put a stop to it.
- The Good, the Bad and the Crispy: Lucifer seeks out to find Amenadiel before their mother can cause danger upon humanity
Season 3[]
- City of Angels?:
- After Amenadiel's pendant got stolen, he goes to Lucifer to get it back
- Lucifer trained Amenadiel to fight as a normal human to avoid suspicion.
- After Amenadiel comments Lucifer being an evil being, it prompts Lucifer to fight against him instead of the other fighter.
Season 4[]
- Everything's Okay: Amenadiel's reunion with Lucifer in his penthouse
- Super Bad Boyfriend: After Amenadiel's friend got shot, Lucifer accompanies him to deal with the person who is responsible
Season 5[]
- Diablo: Amenadiel arrives to Lucifer to convince him to go back to Earth to deal with Michael
- Spoiler Alert: Lucifer seeks out for Amenadiel's help in order to find Chloe. When it seems hopeless, Amenadiel provide some hopeful advice in order for Lucifer to not giving up.
Season 6[]
- Save the Devil, Save the World: Lucifer and Amenadiel, along with Chloe and Ella, gathers at the LAPD to discuss the important issues with the Apocalypse
