After successfully portraying Eve as a very compasionate maternal figure, I looked forward with great anticipation to how the show would embody the 'Father of all Humankind'

Seriously?
This had to be, hands down, the most disappointing moment in the show for me.
This was a great opportunity to portray a strong, healthy, paternal character and they totally dropped the ball.
There are so few examples of healthy masculine characters in media today. That the show runners decided to go with such a steriotypical one-dimensional charactariztion is saddening.
