49 Votes in Poll
@Zane T 69 Considering this account, it's true that I did nothing. But this isn't the case in the past. And forgive me for voting "yes" in my own poll, it's not really meant to raise the votes in my favor, but rather to not leave a non-voter. Even after withdrawing it, the positive votes are in the majority. So that doesn't really help me. The promises that I make are always kept, after which it's up to you to see if you wish to remain the only person to rule the space. I only present my help. Then I can demonstrate my dignity to you, by the knowledge that I can introduce into the Wiki of Lucifer.
Honestly you haven't proven yourself here and even I had a decent amount of edits before I was appointed an admin here. Prove that you'll do the work by contributing to the wiki and reapply. There are other users here who've put in the work, demonstrated the intent to edit and protect the wiki, and their character is more well-known too. You showed up a few months ago and decided that you want the shiny new title without proving yourself as an editor. Honestly you're acting like a politician to me and I want a fellow admin that I can trust and count on and you're lack of past contributions don't inspire those feelings.
EDIT: I am pleased that you've heeded my constructive criticism and are making good edits though.
Also, I'm not even the wikis bureaucrat but I will notify Janus of your request despite my firm opposition to it.
@Zane T 69 You're professional in your words, I agree with you, you didn't know me and my new account doesn't have the required numbers. And I recognize, putting myself in your shoes, that my words may sound like those of a politician. I will therefore prove myself, and show myself worthy (without my political promises.) And thank you for passing the information on to Janus despite your disagreement, it's really honorable of you.
It's my responsibility and me suppressing your goals would be corrupt and only make me less worthy to be an admin. I'm glad that you're trying to see things from my perspective, that's a helpful skill for debates and admins who are required to patrol edits, reports, and assess others intentions while making them.
I'm extremely careful in regards to admins and bureaucrats. I've seen users who are great contributors who can create entire pages of high-quality content be terrible admins who abuse the protect and rollback functions and don't block people who blatantly vandalize pages. My hope is that any admin who joins us on the wiki is capable of defending the wiki alone (if I or Janus died due to Covid or other bad fortune) and insure a continuance of management for the wiki. That and having the wisdom to chose successors who take all responsibility seriously.
I understand very well and I support you on this, I know what it's to see his work go up in smoke because of malicious or non-vigilant people. This is partly why I offer my help, to purify the web. The other reason is simply to be useful in making the Wiki shine. But I leave it to you, only you or Janus are able to qualify me to worthy, or not, then I'll accept your decision.
Also, can I make a friendly request for when you do re-apply? When/if you make another poll to gather support, can you just stick to "yes" and "no" options. Hopefully I won't want to give a no vote (seeing you accept criticism and start to make edits is a great sign and has already boosted my confidence in you) but if I did, I wouldn't want to click a button that says "Hell, no" because it would make me look/feel like a dick. But maybe that's just me 🤷♀️
Ah yes, this is perfectly normal.
Well he did exactly what I feared he would do. He vandalized pages with an unnecessary category to earn a badge and admitted such when I messaged him on his message wall. It should still be there but I took a screen capture of the confession too.

Out of curiosity, which "laws of the Wiki Lucifer" are being referenced?
We've done admin applications before, but the first step has always been proving yourself as a contributor on this wiki. Applicants are welcome to have others put in a written recommendation on their behalf, but forum polls don't help since many voters aren't familiar with wiki functionality (in fact, none of the 'yes' votes came from wiki contributors).
What do you think?
