There is some disagreement on whether Lucifer or Uriel is older. Amenadiel's speech to Uriel ("Not the eldest son. Not the young rebel. But an angel buried somewhere deep in the middle.") implies that Uriel is older. Yet Goddess, when speaking to Lucifer, implies that Lucifer was included with the older kids while Uriel was not ("All he ever wanted was to play with you and the older kids"). Tricia Helfer, who plays Goddess, confirmed that Uriel is older than Lucifer.[1]

Personally, I think Lucifer is older than Uriel. This is what the Godess implied and what I understand. Maybe when Amenadiel spoke to Uriel, he said "young rebel" in comparison to himself as the eldest son. Or maybe it's more like a nickname because Lucifer literally rebelled when he was young.

But then, Tricia Helfer told us that Uriel is older than Lucifer... I'm pretty sure to close the debate we'll need an official statement.

Amenadiel's statement was pretty clear, putting himself as oldest, Lucifer as young, and Uriel in the middle. Furthermore, the actress who plays Goddess has 'officially' clarified that Uriel is older than Lucifer. The wiki is going by that.

Retcon is a thing, so if happens, the wiki will be edited. Until then, we go by the current facts. The wiki needs to maintain 'canon', but everyone can have their own 'head-canon'.

I'm not complaining or disagreeing here :) On the contrary, I'm all for canon wiki. I guess I am a little disappointed that we don’t discuss theories/blurd points with arguments a bit more.

The starting question was about the wiki though, so yes, it has to stay canon ;)

Let me get this straight. A statement made by a starring cast member of the show is fanon. But you, on the other hand, know everything and we should consider you the ultimate source of 'official' canon. Yeah, nope, not buying it.

Three are two lines in the show, one implying Lucifer is older, the other implying Lucifer is younger. Plus we have a third source (the actress you spoke the line that implied Lucifer is younger) stating Lucifer is older. So for valid sources, that's 2-1.
