As a died hard fan of Tom Welling, I felt that it was not fair to have his role to be dead prematurely...I need to get the executives to reconsider bring Tom Welling back in future seasons of Lucifer soon!

All Pierce wanted to do was die and he finally got his wish. His story arc is over and he's most certainly never coming back. His return would require there to be future seasons of Lucifer. A show that was canceled and then picked up by netflix. However, it's only been picked up for a 4th season of 10 episodes with no word of there being a 5th season afterward. I mean, there's always a chance Pierce will return but I find this to be unlikely.

I think that's easy to say for someone who hasn't lived a millennia. A couple other TV series that explore an immortal human living among mortal humans are Forever (2014–15) and New Amsterdam (2008 series, not 2018).
